Carrier and ECIDC Promote Energy Savings in China Sep 18, 2008

Carrier Corp. has signed a Memorandum of Friendly Cooperation with the Energy Conservation Information Dissemination Center (ECIDC) to continue promoting the progress of energy saving and emission reduction in China. Ross Shuster, president, Carrier Building Systems and Services (BSS) Asia, and Jim Gradoville, president, United Technologies International Operations (UTIO), recently led a seven-member delegation from Carrier Corp. during a visit to the ECIDC of National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).

Carrier and ECIDC will collaborate on technology, demonstration projects, and training programs to drive the promotion of energy efficiency and emission reduction, as well as the application of green air-conditioning technologies and solutions for both new and retrofit buildings.
