Bosch and Siemens Dishwashers Recalled Jan 20, 2009

BSH Home Appliances Corp., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), issued a voluntary recall for the repair of certain models of Bosch and Siemens brand dishwashers made between 1999 and 2005. An electrical component in the dishwashers can overheat, posing a fire hazard. There have been no injuries reported. The recall affects only certain models of the dishwashers totaling 476,500 in the U.S.
