Whirlpool Corp. named Marc Bitzer, president of Whirlpool Europe, to the newly created position of president of U.S. operations, effective Jan. 1. Bracken Darrell, currently senior vice president of operations at Whirlpool Europe, was named president of Whirlpool Europe and executive vice president of the company. In addition, Joao Brega, president of Whirlpool Mexico, was named president of Whirlpool Mexico and Canada and senior vice president of Whirlpool.
