Electrolux Names Ride to Head Central Vac Division Sep 23, 2008

Electrolux Home Care Products named Scott Ride president of Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems (ECVS, formerly Beam Industries). Ride will lead the global central vacuum business for Electrolux while maintaining overall responsibility for Electrolux Home Care Products Canada. Ride replaces Russ Minick, who was recently named president and CEO of Electrolux Home Care Products.

Ride has run the Canadian business since mid-2005. Ride will assume his new post on Oct. 1, 2008.
