Miele Announces Showroom Expansion Plans for 2009 Oct 20, 2008

Miele plans to open a new showroom in Scottsdale, AZ, U.S. in the second quarter of 2009. In addition, Miele will extensively remodel its current showrooms within its new global upscale "Gallery" concept. Showrooms in Manhattan, Princeton, NJ, and San Francisco have just been updated and are now positioned as “Galleries” versus "Showrooms." The Boston (Wellesley), MA facility will be updated by year’s end.

The new Gallery concept allows for fast integration of new products and innovations and displays the products in a unique, modern minimalist setting.

As part of the strategic decision to aggressively enhance and expand its showroom presence to consumers and designers, Miele said it will not exhibit at the 2009 International Builders’ Show (IBS). Miele has exhibited annually for the past four years and said that it has tentative plans to return in 2010.
