The deadline for submitting an entry to the inaugural Strategic Manufacturing Awards (www.manufacturing-awards.com) was extended to Aug. 1, 2008. The awards will be presented at the Swissôtel Düsseldorf, Germany, on Oct. 8, 2008, as part of the European Manufacturing Strategies Summit 2008 (www.ems-summit.com).
