During the 2Q 2008, commercial air-conditioning shipments showed a largest gain,
increasing 3%, according to the Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning
Institute of Canada(HRAI). Residential air-conditioning shipments showed the
second largest gain, increasing by 1%. Other sectors showed decreases, including
unit heaters, chiller bookings, ductless splits, and residential furnaces, HRAI
said.
