Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and Lowe's Home Improvement stores announced a consumer safety initiative to teach consumers about product safety. UL's mobile safety exhibit will engage and entertain consumers at 63 Lowe's locations across the United States.
The mobile UL Safety Tour is an interactive exhibit of high-tech demonstrations and challenges that engage and educate consumers on hidden household and outdoor dangers. The exhibit also introduces the UL Mark as a standard for ensuring products have been rigorously tested.
The UL Safety Tour exhibit includes entertaining safety games for all ages, such as "PASSMaster," a fire extinguisher demonstration game and the "Look for the Mark Challenge." Visitors also can help children work their way through the Fire Escape Obstacle Course.
