Wal-Mart Stores has realigned its senior management team, appointing Tom Coughlin executive vice president and vice chairman of Wal-Mart Stores, and Mike Duke executive vice president and CEO of the Wal-Mart Stores division, assuming Mr. Coughlin’s former title. The vice chairman role has been vacant since Don Soderquist retired in 2000.
