Woongjin Coway Completes Acquisition of Controlling Stake in Saehan Apr 10, 2008

Woongjin Coway, a leading water-purifying equipment maker in Korea, has completed its merger of Saehan, a manufacturer of textiles and environmental substances such as water filters and sheets. Woogin acquired a 50% stake in Saehan out of 68.9% of its total stake. Woongjin said the acquisition will help the company to make long-term investments and develop new materials related to textile and the environment.
