Techtronic Industries Company, Ltd. (TTI), named Joseph Galli Jr. CEO and an executive director. Galli joined TTI in 2006 as CEO of the group’s floor care appliances division, Techtronic Appliances Holdings Co., where he managed the acquisition of the Hoover floor care business from Whirlpool Corp. and oversaw the integration of Hoover with the group’s existing Dirt Devil and Vax floor care businesses. Techtronic also appointed Peter David Sullivan to an independent non-executive director. The group’s cofounder, Horst Julius Pudwill, remains as chairman and executive director.
