Philips Consumer Electronics To Move Mar 7, 2008

Philips Electronics will move its operations from Atlanta to Stamford, CT, U.S., as part of the company's merger with its personal care division. The new Philips Consumer Lifestyle North America operation will use a building in Stamford that has been occupied by the domestic appliances unit since last summer. Philips also plans to move the offices for its accessories division in Ledgewood, NJ, to the Stamford location.   The consumer electronics unit in Atlanta currently has about 200 employees.
