Gladiator GarageWorks is launching its newly improved Energy Star qualified Chillerator garage
refrigerator designed to run even more efficiently in the extreme garage environment.
The launch coincides with Energy Star's program's 2008 Recycle My Old Fridge campaign. The campaign encourages every American who owns an old, inefficient refrigerator to trade it in and buy a new Energy Star qualified refrigerator. In honor of the campaign, Gladiator brand is offering US$100
off the purchase of a Chillerator garage refrigerator and up to $50 off home delivery.
The garage refrigerator has built-in features that keep internal temperatures consistent regardless of external hot or cold temperatures. Beyond handling the extreme temperature and humidity of the garage environment, Gladiator says it also helps consumers save money by reducing energy consumption--approximately $49 annually if they were previously using a same size top freezer model that was purchased between 1993 and 2000.
