Daikin Industries, Ltd. established a Swedish subsidiary after aquiring all assets of Svenska Daikin AB.
The new company is named Daikin Sweden AB and it will sell heating and air-conditioning appliances in Sweden. In particular, it will focus on selling heating systems based on Altherma, a hot water heating system using heat pump technology.
The new company represents the first time the Daikin Group has had a formal business plan on the heating business.
