Remington introduces the PowerMower, reportedly the first cordless lawn mower with a corded option that gives consumers the power of a gas mower without the hassles or environmental harm of using fuel.
The PowerMower has a removeable 60-V battery that provides up to an hour of clean-energy mowing, giving consumers the freedom of gas and extension cords. The lightweight and mobile design makes it perfect for regular lawn maintenance, and maneuvering uneven ground and yard obstacles. For longer jobs, Remington offers optional spare batteries, or users can simply plug in and keep on mowing. For the tougher jobs, like clearing yard debris or leaves, Remington's PowerSelect technology gives users the power they need. They simply plug in and switch to boost to achieve the same cutting power as a gas mower. With the battery removed, the electric mower weighs less than 40 pounds.
