The Dutch company Oxycom launched an energy efficient air-conditioning system, which the company says cools air more efficiently than existing models on the global market, allowing buildings to save between 50% and 60% on their energy bills for cooling and ventilation. The system ventilates up to 100%, ensuring a healthy indoor climate.
According to the Energy Statistics from the U.S. Government, 16% of the total U.S. electricity consumption is used for air-conditioning. "From this 16%, the Oxycell based air-conditioning system has the potential of saving more than 50%," says E. van der Ende, CEO of Oxycom.
The company said it will launch the Oxycell into the American market first.
