Cordless phone maker Uniden begun production in a new factory in Vietnam. The 1 million sq.-ft. facility located in the Tan Truong Industrial Zone in the northern province of Hai Duong will compliment a similar factory in South China. Each factory can produce 30 million units per year, for a maximum capacity of 60 million units. It will manufacture the full line of Uniden products, including cordless phones and GPS systems.
