HPBExpo Named Top 50 Fastest-Growing Trade Shows in 2007 Nov 13, 2007

The Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Expo (HPBExpo), owned and managed by the Hearth, Patio, & Barbecue Association, was again selected as one of the top 50 fastest growing trade shows by Tradeshow Week, the global exhibition industry news magazine. The award is the second for the 27-year HPBExpo, the North American trade show for the hearth, patio, and barbecue industries and highlights the growth in the industry as well.

HPBExpo 2007, held March 8-11 at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, NV, U.S., attracted 11,000 industry professionals and contracted 203,900 net sqft of exhibit space indoors and outdoors. The show's outdoor burn area (74,100 net sq ft) showcasing hundreds of wood-, gas- and pellet-burning fireplaces, stoves and grills, has increased by 68% since 2003. The natural gas burning products burn 20 million BTUs per hour during the 3-day event.

HPBExpo 2008 will be held Feb. 28-March 1 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
