Lenovo Names Senior VP/President of Americas Group Nov 5, 2007

Lenovo named Scott DiValerio Senior VP and President of its Americas group. DiValerio will be responsible for the company's sales organization across the Americas. He replaces Rory Read, who served as acting President of the Americas group since January 2007, and will continue with the company in his current position as Global Operations Senior VP.

DiValerio was most recently Corporate VP at the OEM division at Microsoft, where he was responsible for Microsoft's relationships worldwide with makers of personal computers and other devices, multinational and regional OEMs, and embedded systems manufacturers.
