"Upgrade" is the central theme of LG Electronics' integrated marketing campaign launching this week. Designed to ignite the desire for appliances, the two-month, US$20 million initial phase of the campaign demonstrates just how far individuals might go to rid themselves of old home appliances and upgrade to a LG product.
The campaign recently made its network debut on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," and will roll out over the next month to other network and cable television stations. Related online, public relations, and other marketing communications programs also are being launched.
