Lowe's had a good year in 2005—in February of 2006 it reported record full-year earnings for 2005.
Lowe's knows the appliance business is core to its success, and wasn't shy about telling the world. In May, it presented record first quarter 2006 results and gave some of the credit to its appliance sales. Niblock, chairman, president and CEO of Lowe's (Mooresville, North Carolina, U.S.)
