The kick-off ceremony for "Joint Efforts of Four Giants—Haier, Gome, Intel and Microsoft to Launch 50,000 Haier Eye Care PCs" was held in Beijing on Dec. 9th. Haier Computer presented more than thirty new models; Gome put forth the marketing scheme; Intel provided premium, cost-effective CPUs; and Microsoft offered support for resources. It is said that this is the first time in the IT industry that Intel and Microsoft worked together to support Haier in its computer marketing.
