Haier Obtains CAS Standard for Detergent-Free Washing Machine Dec 18, 2006

The initiation ceremony for Haier's Mildew Elimination Program for its detergent-free washing machine was held on December 7th in Beijing. Ma Lincong, secretary general of the China Association for Standardization (CAS) conferred on Haier’s detergent-free washing machine the first CAS certification for bacteria elimination in domestic washing machines. The CAS standard, co-formulated by Haier Group and China Association for Standardization (CAS), is the first technical norm for bacteria elimination technology in the washing machine industry.
