Survey Finds Samsung the Most Caring Corporation in Korea Oct 3, 2007

Samsung is the greatest contributor to society among Korea's corporations, according to a survey of 100 Korean chief executives by the Institute of Global Management. In the survey, 46 respondents said that Samsung is the best company in terms of social contributions, followed by Yuhan with 23 and SK with 12 supporters. Kumho and POSCO tied for fourth and LG took sixth place.

According to the survey, most Korean business leaders think positively of social contribution but they are not actively pursuing such contributions. About 86 respondents said their companies are making social contributions.
