High net-worth consumers rated Wolf the most prestigious home appliance brand in the 2007 Luxury Brand Status Index (LBSI) survey from the independent New York-based Luxury Institute (www.LuxuryInstitute.com). Viking and La Cornue were rated second and third, respectively. Wolf appliances are ranked highly for delivering consistently superior quality and thereby building strong brand affinity. Almost three-quarters of consumers who are familiar with the brand would recommend it to people they care about most. The proprietary Luxury Brand Status Index (LBSI) survey is the measure of the prestige of leading brands among wealthy Americans. A national sample of 1600 wealthy American consumers, with an average income of US$301,000 and average net worth of $3.1 million, was surveyed online.
