Carrier Corp., a unit of United Technologies Corp., named appointed Robert (Bob) J. McDonough as president of its Residential and Light Commercial Systems (RLCS) business. McDonough replaces Halsey Cook, who is leaving Carrier.
Previously, McDonough was president, RLCS Distribution and Aftermarket. Before joining Carrier, McDonough spent 16 years with Lennox International as president and chief operating officer of Worldwide Heating & Cooling, as well as executive vice president of Lennox International and president, Worldwide Refrigeration and International Operations.
