GE Interlogix, Inc., a provider of communication and information technologies for security, safety, and lifestyle enhancements, announced yesterday the appointment of Juan Cabezas as senior vice president of Global Marketing and Strategic Alliances.
According to the company, Mr. Cabezas previously served as president of the its Access and Integration Business Group (formerly known as CASI-RUSCO), and will be succeeded in that position by Steve Walin, formerly senior vice president-North American Security for Siemens Building Technologies. Both positions report to GE Interlogix president and CEO Ken Boyda. "Juan and Steve have demonstrated the skills, insight, and dedication necessary to extend GE Interlogix's leadership in the security industry," says Mr. Boyda.
The company reports that Mr. Cabezas will be responsible for defining growth strategies as the company focuses on expanding markets, building strategic alliances with other global companies, business development, and integrated marketing. He will be based in Austin, TX, U.S. Mr. Cabezas joined GE Interlogix in June 2002.
As president of the Access and Integration Business Group, Mr. Walin will be responsible for leading the development and marketing of enterprise security platforms, including solutions for the integration of physical and data security, according tot he company.
