Haier Group said its 2007 overseas sales including exports could rise by between 20% and 30% to as much as US$5 billion, which would bolster its profits.
Sales inside China may increase at the same pace to $10 billion this year, said Zhou Yunjie, vice president for Haier. He added that the U.S. will contribute the most to the overseas sales growth, followed by Europe and the Asia-Pacific. (Bloomberg News)
