Panasonic Corp. of North America appointed Joseph M. Taylor executive vice president and chief operating officer. Taylor has also been named an executive officer of parent company Matsushita Electric Industrial Company, Ltd. Taylor is the first American ever to be appointed an executive officer for the company.
