Best Buy Co., Inc. has promoted Ben Moore from vice president, properties, to senior vice president, retail support and operations. In his expanded role, Moore will oversee retail field merchandising and operations support, store labor, store operating models, real estate and all properties functions. Moore will report to Tim Sheehan, senior vice president of customer experience creation for Best Buy.
Moore joined Best Buy in 1993 as a real estate manager and his roles have increased progressively in responsibility. Throughout his career at Best Buy, Moore personally has led the selection, negotiation and development of more than 300 Best Buy locations. An additional 200 stores were opened under his guidance while he was senior director of real estate from 2002 to 2004.
Prior to joining Best Buy, Moore was real estate director for Service Merchandise Co., a jewelry retailer located in Tennessee. He also held various roles at Kroger Co., one of the nation's largest grocery retailers. Moore has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
