Dekko Heating Technologies Opens Facility in Brazil

Dekko Heating Technologies of North Webster, IN, U.S., is opening a manufacturing facility in Joinville, SC, Brazil. The 17,200 sq ft (1,600 sq m) industrial plant serves the appliance and consumer product markets. Production is beginning the second quarter of 2003 with a diverse mix of heating technologies including: low-watt tubular heaters, foil heating elements, insert molded heaters, and high-volume resistive heater wire. DHT produces resistive heater wire in Brazil to sell as a separate product and to form the core of other heating elements.
