The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) appointed Soon Kwon, President of LG Electronics USA, Inc., to fill an unexpired seat on the AHAM board of directors. The term expires in 2007. Soon Kwon was named to his current position with LG in January 2006. Prior to that, Kwon served as president of LG Electronics Canada.
The AHAM board also elected two current directors to the Executive Committee:
John R. Arganbright, vice president, Panasonic Home Appliance Sales, Panasonic Corp. of North America
Donald E. Hoeschen, vice president, sales, National Presto Industries, Inc.
John Arganbright has served as an AHAM director since 2004 and is serving his second term as chair of AHAM’s Floor Care Division. Donald Hoeschen has served as an AHAM director since 2001 and also serves on AHAM’s Portable Appliance Division Board.
