Five years after its entry to the Hungarian market Chinese home appliance maker Hisense will wind up its LCD assembly unit in Szombathely (western Hungary), according to a report in the business daily Világgazdaság. As a result, 88 employees will be laid off. The report said that the company will only withdraw from TV production, as it will keep operating its sales, financial, and repair center, which was recently moved to Hungary.
