South Korea's LG Electronics said it filed a lawsuit against Taiwan's Quanta Computer for allegedly infringing on four patents related to its DVD technology.
The move is the latest in a series of patent suits filed by the South Korean company as LG tries to maintain its technological edge over its rivals in Asia in the competitive technology sector. Last month, LG filed a countersuit against Hitachi over alleged violations of plasma display panel technology patents. (FT.com)
