Electric housewares appliances producer Salton, Inc. (Lake Forest, Illinois, U.S.) CEO Leonhard Dreimann resigned his position. William M. Lutz will become interim CEO while retaining his title of chief financial officer for Salton.
Dreimann will continue to serve as a director and will advise the company for a transition period with respect to the company's customers, suppliers and products, as well as assist Salton in connection with the previously announced Salton merger agreement between APN Holding Company, Inc., parent of Applica Incorporated. The merger is expected to be completed in June or July 2007.
