HVAC maker Lennox International Inc. appointed Richard L. Thompson, current vice chairman and board member, to succeed the retiring John W. Norris, Jr. as chairman of the board. Additionally, the company announced the pending retirement of Dave Inman, vice president, controller and chief accounting officer. Roy Rumbough, former vice president and corporate controller for Maytag Corporation, was named to assume Inman’s responsibilities. The transition will begin immediately with Inman serving in an advisory and support role through the end of 2006, at which point he will retire.
