LG Electronics Denies Plans to Invest in Slovakia Aug 25, 2006

South Korean company LG Electronics does not plan to build a new plant in Slovakia, its representative for Europe Annegees van Linge said in a Reuters report.

Her statement was a reaction to the information published in the Slovak press that LG Electronics is likely to build a plant worth SKK 1.8 billion in Nitra in western Slovakia.
Van Linge said the company was focused on investment in its two plants in Poland, one of them launched in 1999 and the other to be put into operation next year.
