Maytag Returns to Best Buy Stores Apr 11, 2007

Whirlpool Corporation announced today plans to bring Maytag brand appliances back to all U.S. Best Buy stores and online at http://www.BestBuy.com in May 2007. The reintroduction of Maytag brand appliances will bring Best Buy customers additional appliance options, helping the retailer provide a unique appliance shopping experience.

The Maytag brand will provide Best Buy with a full line of product offerings in the laundry, cooking, dishwasher, and refrigeration categories.

A limited selection of Maytag brand appliances was last available at Best Buy stores in the first quarter of 2005, prior to Whirlpool Corporation acquiring the Maytag brand in March 2006.
