Flat-panel liquid crystal display (LCD) TV maker Sharp will sponsor a month-long recycling program in April in the U.S. – but there are a number of conditions. The free recycling only applies to new customers and they must make their purchase from the Sharp Direct web site. The offer is only for buyers of LCD TVs 37 inches or larger, and TV to be recycled must be of an equal screen size or less.
Sharp offers free in-home delivery and free pickup of the TV to be recycled.
