iRobot Corp. promoted Gregory White, executive vice president and general manager of iRobot Home Robots, to president of Home Robots.
Under White's leadership, the company has sold more than 2 million iRobot Roomba(R) Vacuuming Robots and introduced the iRobot Scooba(R), the first floor washing robot for home use.
White joined iRobot in 2003, after helping lead personal care appliance maker The Holmes Group achieve revenue growth from U.S. $48 million to $650 million as chief of global sales and marketing. Under his management, iRobot home robots are sold in 40 countries today.
