Haier Begins New Washing Machine Production in China Mar 6, 2007

On Feb. 10, the washing machine line in Haier (Chongqing) Industry Park was formally put into operation. It is reported that this base has an annual capacity of 3 million units. It is part of a strategic layout of Golden Triangle that consists of other WM bases in Qingdao, Shunde and Hefei. This base will not only improve the capacity of the high-end products of Haier WM, but also help Haier further explore the markets in West China and enlarge the influences of Haier products in this region.
