Haier Plans to Buy Stake in PC Maker Founder Feb 27, 2007

Chinese home appliance OEM Haier Group plans to purchase a controlling stake in China's No. 2 PC maker, Founder Group, according to a report in EE Times Asia.  The report said Haier will pay approx U.S. $51.2 million for a 10-percent stake, enough to make it  Founder's controlling stakeholder.
