Electrolux Committee Nominates Wallenberg for Chairman Feb 13, 2007

The Electrolux Nomination Committee today proposed that Marcus Wallenberg be elected the new Chairman of the Electrolux Board at the Annual General Meeting on April 16, 2007. Current Chairman Michael Treschow announced last December that he would not seek re-election.

Marcus Wallenberg is chairman of SEB, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, Saab AB. and ICC (International Chamber of Commerce). He is also deputy chairman of Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson. He has been a member of the Electrolux board since 2005.

The Nomination Committee that prepared the proposal comprises representatives of some of the largest shareholders of the Swedish appliance company as well as current Chairman Treschow.
