Electrolux said Michael Treschow, chairman of the board of directors, will not stand for re-election at the company’s annual general meeting in April 2007. Treschow served as company chairman starting in 2004 and was president and CEO from 1997 to 2002. Additionally, the appliance OEM has appointed Morten Falkenberg head of Floor Care & Small Appliances. Falkenberg previously held the position of president for Floor Care & Small Appliances, Europe. Falkenberg will report to CEO Hans Stråberg. Falkenberg succeeds Magnus Yngen, who was appointed head of Major Appliances, Europe.
