Small appliance retailer Wal-Mart announced an exclusive line of GE small appliances will be sold in its stores starting in June 2006.
The Select edition(R) series of GE small appliances feature brushed nickel with champagne-colored accents and blue LED lights, providing the customer with a combination of retro style and advanced features, according to GE.
The exclusive Wal-Mart Select edition series of GE small appliances includes:
A blender featuring a two-toggle switch and stainless-steel blade, said to ensure smooth spinning and top efficiency, retailing for U.S. $39.
An extra-wide, two-slice toaster that features cord storage and a removable crumb tray, retailing for $27.
A convection toaster oven that can accommodate a 12-inch pizza, selling for $59.
A compact waffle maker featuring an adjustable temperature dial, selling for $18.
A 12-cup capacity coffee maker with auto shut off, retailing for $34.
A microwave designed to match Select edition series, selling for $99.
According to Paul Beahm, Wal-Mart senior vice president and general merchandising manager of the Home division, "The new appliances provide solutions for basic needs in every kitchen, while helping our customers rejuvenate the function and style of their kitchens without spending the summer tearing down walls, and at a great value."
