Indesit Company, the appliance producer based in Fabriano, Italy, plans to build a third plant in Poland, according to reports in Puls Biznesu. The company already makes cooking appliances and refrigerators in Poland.
Maciej Rapkiewicz, CEO of the Lodz Special Economic Zone, is quoted as saying Indesit will invest approximately 80 million euros (approx. U.S. $102 million) in the plant, planned for Radomsko, Poland, and will eventually have 1,200 employees. An official announcement from Indesit is expected in June.
