The Rheem Prestige Series RPRL-JEZ 16-SEER two-stage R-410A heat pump, in 2- through 5-ton capacities, features the Comfort Control System.  Rheem said it is the first HVAC maker to apply microprocessor-based smart technology used in up-scale home appliances to residential condenser products. The Comfort Control System delivers integrated control technology to monitor performance, conducts self-diagnosis and provide 24-hour AutoAlert. The system’s thermostat connects the homeowner to the contractor by advising homeowners to call their contractor when service is required. This system features a 7-segment LED contractor information display, located inside the service panel for timesaving, accurate diagnosis that directs technicians to root-causes of faults. Technicians can also quickly review fault code history and run-test the compressor and fan with a convenient push button.
