Former Maytag executive Ernie Park will join Select Comfort Corporation (Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S.) as senior vice president and chief information officer (CIO), effective May 30. Select Comfort is a leading bed OEM in the U.S., with 30 U.S.-issued or pending patents. The company designs, manufactures and markets adjustable-firmness mattresses featuring air-chamber technology, branded the Sleep Number(R) bed. The bed uses an electronic control to operate an air pump system, which adjusts and maintains a user-selected level of pressure and corresponding firmness level in the mattress.
