Helen of Troy Limited, designer, developer and worldwide marketer of brand-name personal care products and household consumer products, announced the appointment of Richard R. Dwyer, as executive vice president of Business Operations.

Dwyer, a CPA, earned his BS Accounting degree from the University of Minnesota - Mankato. His business experience includes serving as a performance improvement consultant most recently at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Retail and Consumer Products practice, and was also a Partner at Ernst & Young in Minneapolis as director of their Entrepreneurial Services Group. Additionally he has spent 7 years in executive management positions in the specialty retail sector.

As executive vice president of Business Operations, Dwyer will oversee the company's Distribution and Logistics Department, the Sales Operations Department, the Information Technology Department, and the Consumer Services function.
