Beko PLC Awarded “Supplier of the Year” by Euronics Jan 5, 2007

CIH (Combined Independent Holdings) Ltd., the member of Euronics in the UK, which is the largest buying group in Europe, has selected Beko PLC, the sales and marketing company of Arçelik in the UK, as the “Supplier of The Year 2006.” Arçelik company, which has been providing consumers with its Beko branded products for 15 years in England, is maintaining its leadership in the UK’s refrigerator market.

Mr. Clayton Witter, the country manager of Beko PLC, who received the first prize from the Euronics General Manager Mr. Nigel Best, declared the award is evidence of the realization of the company’s decision to support independent distribution channels.

In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Witter reportedly said the award indicates that Arçelik’s goal of making Beko one of the 10 most preferred brands in the UK is on its way to becoming a reality.    

Through more than 9000 stores, in more than 25 countries in Europe, Euronics offers leading international white goods and consumer electronics brands to its customers.
